LAUREL NUTRILAB uses state-of-the-art technology and research to make food products that deliver optimal nutrition and taste. We developed the packaging design for its essence category as the premium product line continues to expand. One version includes chicken extract and Ganoderma Mycelia Polysaccharides, and the other a vegetarian version with Ginseng extract to cater to a wider audience.
The packet design is immediately distinguishable through its shape and visual elements. A divider tab with a small binder hole was designed into the classic rectangular shape, enabling customers to easily pick up the packet with a chopstick and then rip it open without getting burnt. The look and feel follows LAUREL NUTRILAB’s brand identity, with key nutritional information highlighted at the front. Key brand copy is laid over an illustration (not photograph) of the liquid essence, which shows the richness that is concentrated in a single drop.
The box, which holds the packets within, was intentionally designed to be long in shape to emulate a premium whiskey box. The brand logo and texts are placed strategically on all sides in order to stand out regardless of how the box is stacked in the frozen foods section. Lastly, its structure allows the box to be easily disassembled and recycled. Every detail was considered.
